Job Summary
Our client is seeking to hire a qualified person for the position of a Food and Beverage Manager to effectively lead the Food and Beverage Department.

Job Description
The successful team member’s main responsibilities will be:

  • Effective Leadership of the Hotel’s Food and Beverage Department which includes multiple outlets namely:Hotel Restaurant, Bar, Conference rooms, 24hour in room dining, 2 all day dining cafés, speciality cocktail bar among other.
  • Drive the broader goals of the Hotel, in terms of the Food and Beverage Departments business plan in relation to all outlets mentioned above and their interaction with the hotels other operating departments
  • Facilitate Food and Beverage team development through the Quality Plan
  • Ensure stock is well monitored and maintained and that costs of sales are in line
  • Compilation of the hotels Food and Beverage department budget
  • Be creative and implement changes in the department to create a memorable guest experience Look after high end VIP guests as well as groups
  • Ensure the required Food and Beverage Division policies, procedures and administrative systems and controls are in place
  • Day to day guest interaction to receive feedback and actively implement necessary action Overseeing and assisting in departmental stock takes
  • Compilation of all Food and Beverage reports including departmental prelists, revenue reports as well as forecast reports
  • Initiating and implementing of new concepts and ideas
  • Close liaison with the kitchen to ensure that the all food quality metrics are in order.
  • Involvement in the recruitment process of departmental staff
  • Leading, training and motivating the team


Applicants require the following to be considered for this position:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
  • 6 years’ experience in a recognized International 5 star Hotel Chain, as a departmental manager Extremely guest service driven

Ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Computer Literacy including the following known hotel PMS system and MS Office
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Exceptionally well groomed and presentable
Candidates who can speak an additional European language will be given preference

We are looking for a presentable lady under 36 years of age

To complement our current demographic management structure, we are looking for a lady preferably European, Asian or from the Middle East.

Position is on single status

Salary up to $3,000 net per month (if the candidate is senior enough and can act as an EAM in absence of the GM)

Live in including duty meals

Job Description

ROLE The consultant’s role comprises of a wide variety of duties and tasks and requires them to have a proactive and flexible approach to work.

The following tasks define the main elements of the role that may be required on a daily basis:

  • To investigate, establish and document new requirements or existing issues.
  • To configure SAP Business One to meet agreed requirements
  • To train the users in use of SAP Business One and related software applications like – PLD, Crystal Reports, Data Transfer Workbench, User Queries, SAP Crystal Dashboards
  • To provide L1 and L2 (to some extend) support to SAP Business One databases
  • To monitor SAP Business One server and taking care of database backups on daily basis.


REQUIRED SKILLS

He also needs equally good presentation and writing skills to be able to demonstrate to clients that their needs are understood.
  • Excellent documentation skills – Consultant needs very good in documentation to define Scope of Work, Meeting Summary, Goals, Issues and Proposed Solution.
  • Problem Solving - Consultant needs to demonstrate that he is flexible and persistent in his approach to work and have a logical problem-solving method of completing tasks.
  • Business skills - Consultant needs a clear understanding of the ways business works, the structure of different businesses and the way business processes operate.
  • Technical skills - An understanding of how business systems should operate to support client’s business.
  • Team Management – Consultant should be able to manage all the users and delivery of tasks as per the defined timelines and management.
  • Database Knowledge – Consultant must be good in writing SQL Complex Queries, Stored Procedure, Views to develop Crystal Reports. Knowledge of administration/development on SAP HANA is good to have.
  • Database Server Administration – Consultant must be good in managing database server space, backups, optimization, restoring and in disaster recovery.
  • Office skills – In depth knowledge of MS Office applications like MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio etc.
