CLIR refers to the Council on Library and Information Resources. It is the main host institution of the CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for international students. - Postdoctoral Fellowships in Data Curation for the Sciences and Social Sciences
- Postdoctoral Fellowships in Data Curation for Energy Economics
Of course, the fellowships offer some awards for the fellows. They are as follow:
- Remuneration varies by sponsoring institution and by type of fellowship;
- Benefits and some travel expenses are routinely provided.
- Fellowships are for one, two, or three years.
Eligibility Criteria
The fellows must be able to complete the eligibility criteria offered by the CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for international students. They are as follow:
- Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in a discipline no more than five years before applying (i.e., after January 1, 2012, for the 2017-2019 cycles); if a Ph.D. has not yet been received, all work toward the degree (including dissertation defense and final dissertation editing) must be completed before starting the fellowship.
- Applicants can be citizens of any country but must be legally permitted to work in the US and/or Canada between 2017 and 2019 in order to be eligible to apply.
- To be considered for 2018 Postdoctoral Fellowships, applicants must:
- Have received a Ph.D. after January 1, 2013, but before beginning the fellowship;
- Be legally permitted to work in the United States and/or Canada between 2018 and 2020;
- Submit a complete application package, including all supporting documentation, and
- Attend the program’s mandatory seminar held July 29 – August 4, 2018, at Bryn Mawr College.
- Be able to provide higher education English level proficiency.
How to Apply
First of all, the candidates of the CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for international students must enroll and obtain a personal user ID and password through online application system. Once you have done it, you must include these following documents at your account as follow:
