It is the largest indigenous provider of ophthalmic and rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to be the leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves as healthcare social enterprise and through
development programmes the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital.
In order to further enhance the developments in the organization, CCBRT is looking for a self-driven, passionate Software developer to design, develop and implement various software solutions in CCBRT.
The role
The developer is expected to actively participate in the entire Software development Life Cycle from
requirement analysis to software implementation and deployment. Key deliverable is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards, technical design and business needs.
Being familiar with various industry standard programming concepts and best practices, the developer is flexible and quick to adapt to different programming languages but is also able to troubleshot, debug and upgrade existing systems and applications.
The candidate
Minimal a Bachelor degree in computer science or Information Technology
Proven working experience including at least 2 years of programming
Fluent in Java web development (Java, JSP, HTML and Javascript), PHP and MYSQL, SQL server, CSS and HTML5.
ITIL is an added advantage
Good understanding of the supporting technologies such as TCP/IP networking and relational databases like Microsoft SQL, MYSQL and PostgreSQL (transact SQL of ANSI SQL)
Preferably experience with XML, Eclipse, Netbeans IDE, Linux and/or Apache Tomcat Sevlet engine.
Proven innovator.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and a willingness to understand the various roles played by fellow team members.
Flexible to adapt to various programing languages and technologies.
Knowledge about the subject area in which he/she is working, or the intended audience, is valuable.
Excellent communication skills; Proficient in English, Swahili is an added advantage.

ensuring guidelines/standard operating procedure/policies pertaining to patient care are followed. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Pro- active contribute to the further stategizing and marketing of CCBRT as well known and recognized ophthalmic care
facility and the re-establishment of the eye training programme. Ensure quality of medical data (such as log books ,

In order to further expand our Plastic & Reconstructive Services and establish a separate department,
we are looking for an experienced Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon able to lead this journey.
The role
Establish and manage the CCBRT Plastic & Reconstructive Department with main focus to reach annual and long term financial
and service targets, while providing qualiy clinical services. Pro- active contribute to the furtherstategizing and marketing of CCBRT
as well known and recognized reconstructive care facility and the continuation of the training programme in cleft lip/ palate
surgery.
Ensure cost efficient delivery of quality reconstructive services at CCBRT (OPD consultation, treatment and surgeries) and ensuring
guidelines/standard operating procedure/policies pertaining to patient care are in place. Perform reconstructive surgeries
especially cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide excellent
patient care. Contribute to the establishment of a learning & research culture at CCBRT.
As clinical head of the deparment, you organise ward rounds, supervise and coach junior doctors/ AMO’s. Train the junior doctors
to perform simple procedures which are within their capacity professionally. Ensure effective planning of the surgeries as well as
planning for training and leave of junior staf. You ensure quality of medical data (such as log books , patients files etc) and actively
participate in CCBRT patient data management system and contribute to other CCBRT reporting requirements.
As Head of department, you ensure monthly reports to Hospital Executive Committee, you participate in PDCA problem solving,
you facilitate the definition of strategic departmental vision, mission and goals within the framework of CCBRT and targets set by
the Hospital Executive Committee.

specialized in plastic & reconstructive surgery including cleft lip or cleft palate surgeries; two years of experience in team
leadership
